Dishwashing Soap to Remove Grease: If your carpet gets a grease attack and the stains are stubborn, you can use regular dishwashing soap or liquid and mix it with water. Get the greasy area clean by dabbing it gently for a while. Before that, consider letting the solution sit for a while.

Vinegar and Baking Soda to Remove Dark Stains: Sometimes, cleaning agents don’t even work effectively as baking soda and vinegar work for stain removal. Get a solution of water and ¼ cup of vinegar and let the solution sit on the stains for 15–20 minutes. Use a soft-bristled brush to dab the area properly.

Go for the same procedure with baking soda. Make sure you don’t let the baking soda sit on the carpet for a long time. It can damage the material.

Frozen Gum for Stains: It may sound a bit unusual, but frozen gums can be beneficial for removing stains. If the stain on your carpet isn’t too dark, you can get your gum frozen and let it sit on the stain for a while. You can make some cubes of frozen gums for a more convenient solution.

Shaving Cream to Remove Unusual Stains: Shaving cream is such an effective product to remove unusual stains from your carpet. Spray the cream on the stained area and give it about 15 minutes to absorb. Then use a dry cloth to remove the stains, but avoid using water on it.

However, make sure the carpet material isn’t very sensitive to such ingredients when you use them.
